I have Crysis 2 installed on my D: hard drive instead of in my program files on C:. This is because my Windows 7 installation is on an SSD and Crysis 2 will not fit on it due to space limitations.

When I go to patch the game so I can use DX 11, the patch cannot find the install location. I've been googling for a few minutes but I cannot find a solution. Does anyone know how to update an install that is not in program files? CommonJoe 10 years ago 2. You don't need W7 on your SSD.

The only real benefit you get from having your OS installed on your SSD is a faster boot time not needed unless you reboot multiple times an hour for some reason and the OS itself operates slightly faster.

However, it may be possible to swap around the drive letters and just work at the file paths until the patch kicks in.
