I bought this because I was working on a Jaguar which for some reason had a completely different wind back key requirement from a previous Jag I'd worked on. So rather than buying lots of individual wind back tools, I decided to buy an all-in-one kit.

Hello, thank you for the question. I can confirm this product is suitable for most Volkswagen's and thus should be suitable for your T5. Within this kit there are four different adapters suitable for Volkswagen covering the range of models. Will this work on Range Rover 4. I can confirm this product should be suitable for most Range Rovers and thus should be suitable for your car.

The piston has a sort of cross on it, is there supposed to be a tool that it engages with?
